UPDATE:

Thanks to everyone who took part in the webinar on "Top 10 Pitfalls in PR Writing." We had a great turnout! If you missed it (or want to relive it), you can find the slides on the website of the Hampton Roads chapter of the Public Relations Society of America.

—————

Nealy Gihan of Purple Inked and I will present a free webinar on Wednesday, June 17, from noon-1 p.m. about pitfalls to avoid in your writing to get the attention your messaging deserves. Nealy and I will discuss issues such as writing too long, using meaningless quotes, not using storytelling — and more.

This free Zoom session is being brought to you by the Public Relations Society of America-Hampton Roads chapter. It’s open to all PRSA Hampton Roads member as well as non-members. All attendees are asked to register. You’ll receive an email confirmation with the meeting number and password.

Nealy is amazing. She serves as senior communications and marketing specialist for Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority. She also runs Purple Inked, which helps authors, individuals and businesses craft words that move, motivate and influence. I’m not sure I’d be brave enough to do this webinar without her.

We can’t wait to share our tips with you!
